CCW Global Appoints Michael Lamb as CEO to Drive Digital Growth
CCW Global Limited, a leading international insurance brokerage headquartered in Hong Kong, has today announced the appointment of Michael Lamb as the firm’s new Chief Executive Officer. David Herratt, who was interim CEO following the departure of CCW Global co-founder Christopher Claridge-Ware, will be resuming his role as the company’s Sales Director focused on the development of CCW’s corporate benefit offerings for Health and Life insurance products.
Herratt will be assisting Lamb with the management change over the coming months as CCW looks to expand the company’s presence online, and develop innovative and sophisticated tools which will simplify insurance purchasing for customers around the world.
Michael Lamb joined CCW Global in January 2013 as the company’s Marketing Director and has successfully overseen the establishment of CCW’s brand presence in Hong Kong and throughout the APAC Region.
Prior to joining CCW Global, Lamb was in charge of the Global Marketing operations at Pacific Prime Insurance Brokers Limited for 6 years, and managed PPIB’s portfolio of more than 25 health insurance websites, including Global-health-insurance.com, China-health-insurance.com, Kwiksure.com and Kwiksure.com.sg, Hong-kong-health-insurance.com, Globalsurance.com, International-health-insurance.com, Coversure.com and Expat-medical-insurance.com.
Lamb’s role at Pacific Prime, and his continuing management of CCW Global’s marketing department, has given him a comprehensive understanding of the Hong Kong and APAC insurance markets. This understanding, coupled with a philosophy of fully utilizing technological developments, will drive CCW’s development in the future and will help Lamb to position the brokerage as the leading insurance intermediary in Asia.
On his appointment to the CEO role at the broker, Lamb said “I’m thrilled to be taking the Chief Executive role at CCW. We have a number of projects currently in development which will help the company to achieve the next level of success, whilst enabling consumers to receive more transparency when considering the purchase of various insurance products.”
Lamb went on to state “CCW will always operate under the core principal of ‘Customers First,’ and will always work to ensure that the products we recommend to clients are the best possible solutions available.”
Sam Cooper, Managing Director of CCW Global, said of Lamb’s appointment “we’re delighted that Michael has stepped up to fill the CEO position. His knowledge of the industry and his forward thinking in regards to technological and IT developments mean that CCW will be a truly innovative and flexible brokerage.”
