CCW Global Names Sam Cooper as Next Chief Executive Officer

CCW Global Ltd, a leading Hong Kong based Insurance Broker, has today announced that company Co-Founder, Sam David Cooper, will immediately replace Michael Hamish Gordon Lamb as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Lamb will return to his previous role as Marketing Director reporting into Mr. Cooper.

Of the announcement Mr. Lamb stated “it has been an absolute privilege to be CEO of such a forward thinking organization, and I’m extremely happy to hand the reigns over to Sam. Having established a strong presence in the marketplace over the last 3 years, Sam’s leadership will enable CCW Global to really reach the next level.”

Mr. Lamb went on to further say “I’m looking forward to being able to wear my marketing hat full time, and you can expect to see some exciting developments from the company in the coming months as we look to expand our educational-based presence in the Hong Kong Insurance market.”

Talking about his appointment as CEO, Mr. Cooper said “The last 3 years have seen CCW build an incredibly stable platform, and I’d like to thank Michael in the work that he has done to achieve that. However, the next 3 years offer a real opportunity to help drive the organization onto bigger and better things.”

Speaking on his leadership philosophy and the direction he saw CCW Global taking Mr. Cooper added “we will now be looking at the sales and service aspect of operations – we want to ensure that we are offering our clients the best service possible, and my history in helping customers find the best protection possible puts me in a perfect position to lead this project. The board has given me a mandate to improve business development and this is what we will concentrate on.

Prior to co-founding CCW Global Ltd as Cooper Claridge-Ware Ltd, Mr. Cooper was a senior insurance advisor at Pacific Prime Insurance Brokers Ltd for 8 years. Mr. Cooper holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Management (MSc) from Loughborough University and has been Managing Director at CCW Global since May 2012.
