Cooper Claridge-Ware Rebrands as CCW Global To Reflect Growing International Reach
Cooper, Claridge-Ware Limited, a leading international insurance brokerage headquartered in Hong Kong, is rebranding as CCW Global Limited in line with its growing worldwide presence as a provider of comprehensive international health insurance and international life insurance products.
The announcement by the Hong Kong insurance broker formalises a common brand perception within the Hong Kong and International insurance markets, where the company has been widely known as CCW since its founding in May 2012.
Speaking on the name change Michael Lamb, CCW Global’s Marketing Director, said "As a company we felt that the name and brand associated with CCW Global allows us to present a far more dynamic image to the greater international insurance market. Additionally, the change to CCW Global Limited enables us to position the organisation as a truly global intermediary without overlooking our corporate roots, or the contribution of our founders."
Mr. Lamb added "While it is always hard to let go of an established brand image, the new company name allows us a great deal of flexibility to generate brand awareness on a localized basis as the organisation grows into the future as a provider of insurance services to expatriates around the globe."
Cooper, Claridge-Ware, now known as CCW Global, was founded by Sam Cooper and Christopher Claridge-Ware in Hong Kong during May 2012. The company was incorporated to provide higher standards of service to insurance customers both in Hong Kong and around the globe, and to simplify the process of obtaining quality insurance coverage.
The name CCW Global Limited will be the company’s official brand as of February 14th 2014 and replaces the broker’s current branding, including the registered trademark Cooper, Claridge-Ware Limited which will continue to be owned by the organization.
The change from Cooper Claridge-Ware to CCW Global will have no impact on the overall operations of the business and the company expects to finalize its rebranding operations by the end of March 2014.
