Cooper Claridge-Ware Appoints New Sales Director

Cooper, Claridge-Ware Limited (CCW), a leading Hong Kong based international insurance brokerage, has today announced the appointment of a Sales Director.

David Herratt FCII, FIRM Chartered Insurance Broker, and former CEO of Swiss Insurance Partners, joins CCW as a part of the company’s ambitious move to offer ever more comprehensive and expanded insurance services to the Hong Kong and Asian business communities.

Mr Herratt has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He was the Chief Executive of William Russell (Far East) Limited and opened their health insurance operation in Hong Kong. He has held senior executive positions with Lloyd's of London, Thomas Miller Risk Management in the United Kingdom, ONIC General Insurance Company in Oman, CLP Power in Hong Kong and the Skandia Group.

Mr Herratt is a consultant and advisor for Asia to Hampden Agencies Limited and a former Independent Non-Executive Director of Crosby Capital Limited. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) and a Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (FIRM).

Joining a team of established Hong Kong insurance brokers, David complements the existing team of at Cooper Claridge-Ware supporting the company to provide more in-depth and holistic advisory services to global businesses risk-management and employee benefits schemes.
